Saw this over the weekend. Figured I should support it after the film leaked in the hope of more X-men movies in the future.

Went in with very low expectations, but actually thought it was an okay film. Not as good as X2 but much better than X3. Some roughs spots like the CG claws, several plots points that happen just for the sake of getting everyone where they want them to be... and of course they crapped all over Deadpool. But otherwise it was fun, I liked most of the Weapon X-ers more than I thought I would, and the fight at the end is groovy enough if you pretend it's not Deadpool. My date actually didn't even notice the monster at the end was the guy with swords from the beginning (if you don't catch Logan call him Wade there's nothing to link them...not even the same actor) so, there ya go.

Not sure why they thought it was important to show the origin of Wolverine's coat from the first movie though... Wolvie's never been known for a 'famous' jacket.

Wasn't much of an X-Men fan anyway, unlike Transformers and anything from DC Comics.

Yeah, there were several things in that movie that just didn't make sense or just weren't right, but that was definately the biggest. Adamantium is supposed to be near indestructable, so how would bullets, even adamantium bullets, hurt James and make his memory get erased?

If you live in Australia - you'd only get the Logan-at-the-bar ending scene.

It sucks - it's not like us Aussie can't handle a little gore OR the fact we need to see more of an Aussie actor who was already in the past 114 minutes of film :D

My biggest thing against the movie:

ADAMANTIUM CAN NOT, AND NEVER WILL, PEIRCE MORE ADAMANTIUM.

Adamantium is virtually indestructible, and more indestructible material won't cancel it out; it just goes "ding" and stops moving.

Now, had he shot Wolvie in the EYE, that would have been much better.
